perfect base for exploring northumberland's attractions and parks
I really enjoyed my stay and found the area perfect for walking, with the Armstrong Household & Farming Museum just under a kilometer away and beautiful park views only a short stroll from the hotel, making my weekend exploration memorable. the nearby Preston Tower was also a great spot to discover, adding more charm to my adventures in Northumberland.

Stunning views from the sea view balcony.
The breakfast options were quite limited, which left me wanting more variety. I struggled with the awkwardly placed tea and coffee facilities that made it hard to reach them comfortably. there wasn’t adequate space to store our belongings, which made our two-night stay feel a bit cramped.

Everything was spotless, the breakfast delivered to our room was delicious (don’t skip the stotty! ). The attention to detail from the owners was fantastic, making it feel very private despite being close to the A1 (perfect for getting around).
Cannot find any fault.

The breakfast delivered to our room was delicious, especially the unique stotty sandwiches filled with high-quality bacon.
The wet room was not very user-friendly as it lacked a floor towel, leading to wet feet when using the toilet and sink.

I thought the 'King Room with Sea View and balcony' would be total luxury, but the seating was so heavy, I almost fell over just to reach the coffee. And how lovely, the breakfast was limited. I woudl have appreciated a complimentary gesture for all my troubles, but alas, I guess that is too much to ask!

Perfect spot for a chill getaway
We had such a nice stay here! The room was super comfy, and we loved having breakfast outside in the garden. Just a bit noisy at times when the birds got chatty early in the morning, but honestly, it felt kinda nice. A small fridge was handy for chilling our drinks too!
